CENTRAL. Baci has a great pizza restaurant on the ground floor, but if you're looking for something a little more upscale, head upstairs to the second and third floors. There, the sleek, clean dining rooms are ideal for enjoying contemporary Italian cooking. The menu does change fairly often, but you may find items such as duck and goose liver stuffed ravioli, a wonderfully seasoned grilled veal chop, or roasted lamb with mushroom sauce. The same pizzas on offer downstairs are available here as well ­ Baci's is a sublimely thin-crusted variety that draws raves. A reasonably priced lunch menu is offered on both floors.

CENTRAL. This modern-looking D'Aguilar Street restaurant is becoming increasingly popular with locals and those in the know. The environment is warm and comfortable, accented by a few neat murals, and punctuated by soft background music. Furthermore, Benissimo's menu has a wide range of selections and features several excellent veal options. CAUSEWAY BAY. Fat Angelo's is a family-oriented, American-style Italian restaurant . This fun restaurant offers well-proportioned entrées in an environment that features candid picture after picture of families enjoying their meals, and, occasionally, some live music. CENTRAL. Located in Pacific Place, Grappa's offers a trattoria-like environment right in the heart of the busy Mall shopping area. The pizza, pastas and attractive salads are popular with the lunchtime crowd, and Grappa's also boasts admirable beer and wine lists. MTR: Central

From the beautiful parquet floors and the marble columns to the views of the harbor and the impeccable service, Grissini's, which is located in the opulent Grand Hyatt, exudes style and class. The menu features a wide range of traditional Italian favorites, and Milanese cuisine is their specialty. Among the more popular dinner dishes are the filet of sea bass, osso bucco, and lobster ravioli ­ each carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients.
